COLUMBUS, Ga. - Fort Benning has scheduled 12 company-level basic training graduations, 20 Turning Green ceremonies and two Turning Blue ceremonies between Nov. 4 and Dec. 17, 2026, according to the U.S. Army's 197th Infantry Brigade ceremony calendar. The schedule includes graduations at the National Infantry Museum and Sand Hill, along with, in a separate Army listing, a Dec. 4 Ranger School graduation at Hurley Hill. The Army says all ceremony dates and times are subject to change, including adjustments for weather.
The schedule begins Wednesday, Nov. 4, with three Turning Green ceremonies and continues with three graduations Thursday, Nov. 5. Additional ceremonies are listed throughout November and December, including Turning Blue events Dec. 15 and the final scheduled Turning Green ceremony Dec. 17. The 197th Infantry Brigade also lists a Dec. 17 departure schedule for Holiday Block Leave.
12 Basic Training Graduations Scheduled Through Dec. 16
The Army's 197th Infantry Brigade calendar lists 12 company-level graduation ceremonies across six dates between Nov. 5 and Dec. 16. Most are scheduled for Inouye Field at the National Infantry Museum, while the Nov. 24 graduation is listed at Kanell Field on Sand Hill. All six graduation dates have a scheduled start time of 10 a.m.

The Nov. 5 and Dec. 3 dates each include three company-level graduations, according to the brigade calendar. Nov. 19 and Dec. 16 each list two companies, while Nov. 24 and Dec. 10 each list one. Those counts produce the 12 company-level graduations scheduled during the period.
The Army identifies individual companies and training units in its published schedule. The calendar uses the designations BCT and OSUT for the listed training groups. The graduation count refers to company-level ceremonies, not the number of individual soldiers graduating.

The 197th Infantry Brigade lists 14 Turning Green ceremonies during November, beginning Nov. 4 and continuing through Nov. 25. All are scheduled at Sand Hill, with locations including Kanell Field, Pomeroy Field and CTA. The Army lists individual times and companies for each ceremony.

November's calendar includes three ceremonies Nov. 4 and another three Nov. 6, according to the Army. Two ceremonies are scheduled on each of Nov. 18, Nov. 20 and Nov. 25, with single ceremonies Nov. 13 and Nov. 23. The total for those seven November dates is 14 Turning Green events.
December Adds Six Turning Green Ceremonies
The brigade calendar lists six additional Turning Green ceremonies in December, bringing the November and December total to 20. Three are scheduled Dec. 2, followed by individual ceremonies Dec. 9, Dec. 16 and Dec. 17. As with the November events, the December ceremonies are listed at Sand Hill locations.
| Date | Time | Company | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dec. 2 | 9 a.m. | C Co 2-29 | Kanell Field |

The Dec. 2 schedule has three different start times, at 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and noon. The remaining December ceremonies are spread across three separate dates, according to the brigade. The Dec. 17 event for B Co 3-47 is the last Turning Green ceremony listed in this period.
The 20-event count combines the 14 November ceremonies and six December ceremonies. The Army's calendar also includes two Turning Green events dated Oct. 16, but those occurred before the November schedule covered here. They are not included in the 20 upcoming ceremonies.
Turning Blue Ceremonies Set for Dec. 15
The Army has scheduled two Turning Blue ceremonies Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Kanell Field on Sand Hill. C Co 3-54 is listed for 10 a.m., while E Co 3-47 is scheduled for 2 p.m. Both events appear on the 197th Infantry Brigade's official ceremony calendar.
According to the Army, Turning Blue recognizes OSUT soldiers as Infantrymen and includes earning the Blue Infantry Cord. The events are listed separately from the basic training graduation ceremonies. The brigade's December schedule identifies the companies, locations and start times for both Turning Blue events.
The Army also describes Family Day as following Turning Blue, when soldiers reunite with loved ones and families tour facilities where soldiers lived and trained. The brigade's information states that graduation occurs on a parade field the morning after Family Day. The published ceremony information does not specify separate Family Day dates or times.
Ranger School Graduation Scheduled for Dec. 4
A separate Army calendar lists Ranger School Class 01-27 for graduation Friday, Dec. 4, 2026, at Hurley Hill, also identified as Victory Pond. The event is included in the U.S. Army's Ranger Course Graduation Ceremony Information. It is separate from the 197th Infantry Brigade's 12 company-level basic training graduations.
The Army lists the Dec. 4 Ranger School schedule as follows:
- 9:30 a.m. - Rangers in Action seating opens.
- 10 a.m. - Rangers in Action demonstration begins.
- 11 a.m. - Graduation and tab pinning begins.
- Approximately 45 minutes - Listed duration of the graduation and tab-pinning ceremony.
The Ranger School calendar identifies Class 01-27 as the December graduating class. It lists Class 11-26 on Oct. 30 but does not show a November 2026 Ranger School graduation. The Army provides the Ranger School schedule separately from the basic training and Turning Green calendars.
The Ranger Course Graduation Ceremony Information also lists ARTB Staff Duty at 706-544-6980. The Army advises families to bring hearing protection for young children attending the Rangers in Action event. The published schedule identifies Hurley Hill at Victory Pond as the location for the December ceremony.
Holiday Block Leave Departures Begin Dec. 17
The 197th Infantry Brigade calendar also includes Holiday Block Leave departure information for Thursday, Dec. 17, 2026. According to the Army, soldiers departing by personally owned vehicle begin leaving at 4 a.m. The listed pickup process starts at the National Infantry Museum entrance gate, with families then following directions to Sand Hill.
That departure schedule appears on the same Army information page as the November and December ceremonies. It is not counted among the 12 graduations, 20 Turning Green events or two Turning Blue ceremonies. The Dec. 17 date also appears in the ceremony calendar for the scheduled B Co 3-47 Turning Green event at 10 a.m.
The Army provides the departure information as part of its published brigade schedule. The listed start time for Holiday Block Leave departures is 4 a.m. on Dec. 17.
Army Says Ceremony Dates and Times May Change
The 197th Infantry Brigade states that all dates and times in its ceremony calendar are subject to change. Ceremonies are generally held outdoors, and the Army says weather may require changes in location or start time. Severe weather can result in ceremonies being moved indoors.
The brigade provides its official ceremony information page with the dated schedule and event details. Brigade Staff Duty is listed at 706-544-1247 for ceremony information. The Army's separate Ranger School graduation page provides the Dec. 4 Ranger School schedule.
The published calendar covers events from the first Turning Green ceremonies Nov. 4 through the final listed Turning Green ceremony Dec. 17. Within that period, the 197th Infantry Brigade lists 12 company-level graduations, 20 Turning Green ceremonies and two Turning Blue ceremonies. The separate Ranger School calendar adds the Dec. 4 Class 01-27 graduation, with all scheduled events subject to the Army's stated change policy.
