On September 21st in Atlanta, GA, the cast and crew of A Different World celebrated the series’ premiere at the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College. The event served as the kick-off to the Morehouse College Human Rights Film Festival and opened with performances by the Morehouse "House of Funk” marching band, "Mahogany N Motion" dance team, members of the Divine Nine fraternities and sororities, and a screening of the first two episodes. The special screening event was the culmination of a nationwide ‘Road to Hillman’ College Tour visiting campuses in Houston (Prairie View A&M University), Chicago (Chicago State University), Washington D.C.(Howard University), and Virginia (Hampton University).
