Editor’s Note: My husband and I have been travelling since we got married on June 30, 1963. In our travels, we were able to include our four children-Petra, Mark, Helmut and Tanya.
We stayed in the Courtyard by MARRIOTT, located at 1337 Old Covington Highway SE, Conyers, GA 30013. We were on the third floor. I really appreciated the comfortable bed. In addition, since I do have asthma, I am allergic to feathers and the woman checking us in that day made sure the room was free from feathers before we entered the room. I was deeply grateful for the safety measure. Their phone number in Conyers is 770.922-2251. The manager is Ms. Trena Harv
I called there recently and spoke to a very pleasant woman. I found out that if a customer needs a handicapped room, there is no additional charge. Also the rooms are cleaned every other day. It helps any client, which included us, feel comfortable because we know the care of the room is important.
In the lobby of the hotel, there are several pieces of literature regarding a Marriott Bonvoy eGift Card. And if a customer makes the purchase, they receive 50,000 bonus points which can be used in any of the Marriott properties. That’s interesting for those who travel.
Now, where did we eat dinner. We enjoyed friendly service and delicious meals at The Juicy Crab. What I really liked is that we (including some of the family) were a group of 10. We had no problem being seated and once the food was ordered, we relaxed and before we knew it, the appetizers and our orders were placed before us. The food was well-seasoned and plenty to eat. When we are in the area again, The Juicy Crab in Conyers will see us.
Now, you may wonder-where did we go for breakfast. We went to a busy restaurant called Two Eggs. The atmosphere was exciting. I say exciting because just watching the staff was intriguing and we did not have long to wait. Once seated, we ordered beignets. They were warm and delicious. Everyone truly enjoyed their meal. I appreciated that all of our food was well cooked and hot. There is no doubt in my mind that Two Eggs will see us again.
